Waiting

Some of you have been asking for updates and want to know what's going on. Unfortunately, we don't really have any news right now. Over the holidays, we found out that the old NAC (National Adoption Center) closed, stopping all adoptions. They are working on transferring power from one ministry to another. In the mean time, they are waiting for the president to sign legislation that will reopen the old NAC for the interim until the new NAC is up and running sometime in May.

We have no idea when we will travel. It's hard to say how quickly they can get things up and running again. Despite this setback, we are in good spirits. We are enjoying some more kidless time together, finishing up home improvement projects, saving more money, and Bill is closer to graduation. We are also busy updating all of the paperwork that has expired. We have waited a long time already, so a little longer doesn't hurt. Our babies are in Ukraine waiting for us:) We'll be there soon to bring them home! As soon as we hear more, we'll post again.
